Laboratory tests are an essential tool to aid physicians in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. At Reeves Regional Health, our clinical laboratory uses the latest technology to minimize patient discomfort while producing accurate and dependable results.

Food and beverages can alter some laboratory tests. Many times, the best comparison of specific test results can be made while the patient is fasting.

Consult your physician when receiving laboratory orders to verify if you need to be fasting and if any medications will interfere with the test results.
